Audi builds its automobiles to such a high level of fit and finish that many other manufacturers target Audi when they want to take their vehicles upscale. Over the last few years, Hyundai has been working hard to turn its vehicles into something desirable rather than the cheap and ugly economy cars the brand started out producing.

The Hyundai HCD-14 concept car has been teased and from what we can tell from the single image, it will be a very nice-looking vehicle indeed. Reports indicate that the vehicle could be aiming at the Audi A7. Those are some tall shoes to fill, if in fact that's what Hyundai is trying to do it all.

The concept car will be officially unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show in about a week. At that point, we should get all the details we can stand. I hope the vehicle will be more than a pure concept car, I'd like to see Hyundai offer some intriguing models.
