2015 Dodge Challenger Confirmed to Debut during 2014 New York Auto Show

We only just finished the 2013 New York international auto show, but Mopar fans are looking forward to the show next year. Torque News reports SRT boss Ralph Gilles recently let slip that during the 2014 New York international auto show dodge will be unveiling a redesigned Challenger.

He said, "The Challenger is about to go under the knife…its actually under the knife as we speak. We’re doing a lot to [the Challenger] and were going to come with an answer for [the Camaro Z/28] and for our friends at Ford."

Hopefully that transformation will chop some of the fat off the car because out of all the modern muscle cars, the Challenger is by far the most overweight. No details on what we might expect for the next generation Challenger were offered, but it would have to be significantly better than the current vehicles to best offerings from Ford and Chevrolet.
