Need for Speed Movie Now Filming with Some Epic Cars

I'm a big fan of movies with lots of cars and car chases. Sometimes the movies are super cheesy, but I still enjoy watching the cool cars and car chases. I also have a soft spot for video games. Sadly, the track record for video game-based movies is horrible. Therefore, I'm both excited and a little dubious of the fact that a Need for Speed movie is in the works based on the video game franchise.

A movie with wall-to-wall car chases including some really cool cars sounds like a great deal. However, if being a movie based on the video game could mean the movie won't be that great. Anyway, what we do know is that some pictures from the set of the movie have surfaced and one of the cars used will be a McLaren P1.

The images were released by the Mendocino County Film Office, which is the county where the movie shooting, according to Jalopnik. Along with that McLaren is also a Koenigsegg Agera R and other cars spied on the set include a Bugatti Veyron SuperSports, and a GTA Spano. The movie is supposed to come out in theaters in March 2014.
