Hurtz Gets New Hertz Penske GT Mustangs for Rental

Car rental chain Hertz has announced that it has a new rental option coming to its fleet that is a bit of a throwback to the 60s. Back in the 60s, Hertz offered rental Shelby GT Mustangs that are among some of the most popular and collectible muscle cars from the 60s. Hertz has announced that it has teamed up with Penske racing to offer special Hertz Penske GT Mustangs at locations around the country.

The special cars are brand-new Mustang GTs featuring a 5.0-liter V8 engine. The special package equipped with the rental Mustangs includes quad-tipped exhaust system, air intake and ECU tuning upgrades, 3.55 gears, and Brembo brakes.

Inside the special Mustangs also have Recaro seats, gauge pods, custom floor mats, and lots more. There is no indication of exactly how much of these special Mustangs will cost to rent, but it will definitely be a premium car.
