If you follow technology at all you're probably familiar with the Google Glass wearable computing device. Was only a matter of time before developer started creating some interesting apps designed to run on the Google Glass glasses that interfaces on the in vehicle technology available on the market today.
One of the most technologically advanced vehicles on the market is the Tesla Model S. A developer has created the inevitable Google Glass app that interfaces with the Model S electric car. The app allows the model S owners to control various features of the car. The app is called GlassTesla and allows owners to start and stop charging, look at and get directions to the car on the map, text to the car is unlocked, and enable the auto climate feature.
This is a very cool app and certainly sounds like something owners of the Model S might want to add to their collection. The developer who created the app is Sahas Katta and the app is posted to the Model S forum this week.
