Chrysler Group to have a large Sema presence

One of the biggest car shows of the year for modified vehicles is Sema in Las Vegas each year. Chrysler has announced that it will have 20 Mopar-modified Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, RAM, Fiat, and SRT vehicles on hand at the Sema show in November. The show cars will be part of a 15,300 square-foot exhibit Chrysler has to show off its performance parts and accessories for various vehicles.

Sema takes place November 5-8 that the Las Vegas Convention Center. "We developed these Mopar-modified vehicles to inspire ultimate customization," said Pietro Gorlier, President and CEO of Mopar, Chrysler Group LLC's service, parts and customer-care brand. "With catalogs full of proven, quality-tested performance parts and accessories, Mopar is a one-stop shop for factory-engineered personalization."

Chrysler isn't offering all the details on its show cars just yet. We'll have to wait and see what they unveil at the show. So far, all we have is a drawing of the Fiat 500 concept. Chrysler does have a history of introducing interesting cars at the show so I can't wait to see what they have this year.

Oct 30 2014 12:56am CDT | Source: Car and Driver

We saw some incredible car debuts when we inspected the 132 entries at the third annual Halloween Hooptiefest on Friday, then watched the top of the standings become strangely free of German machines on Saturday, and then Sunday saw the closest Class A finish since the by-a-whisker South Carolina race. It was one of the better LeMons races in what has turned out to be the best season in series history, and we’re here to show you who took home what trophies. He ...

Official: Fiat reveals oddball FCC4 in Sao Paulo

Oct 29 2014 3:38pm CDT | Source: Autoblog

Filed under: Concept Cars, Crossover, Misc. Auto Shows, South America, Fiat The striking new concept vehicle seen above is called the FCC4, which stands for Fiat Concept Car... with, um, four doors. We're not quite sure what else to call it, because the Fiat Design Center Latam (as in, Latin America) has apparently tried to transcend market segments and traditional bodystyles as much as possible. It's sort of like a four-door coupe, riding high on a j ...

Chrysler Recalls 566,000 Ram, Durango, Grand Cherokee Models

Oct 29 2014 3:13pm CDT | Source: Car and Driver

Chrysler is recalling 566,000 SUVS and pickups for faulty airbags, a stability control flaw, and leaking diesel fuel. The 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango have airbag modules that can short-circuit due to a manufacturing defect on the circuit board. As a result, the front airbags, side airbags and seat belt pretensioners could be disabled; if so, a warning light should appear on the instrument cluster. ...
