Nissan Sentra Nismo Concept Puts 240hp Under the Hood

Nissan has been unveiling some cool new cars that will fit into its Nismo line this week at the LA Auto show. Among the cars is a very nice looking Sentra Nismo concept car. The concept has a 240 hp 1.8L direct injection turbo engine. That engine produces 240 lb-ft of torque.

"Fans have asked that we bring back a high-performance Sentra straight from the factory, just like in generations past," said Nissan Vice President of Product Planning, Pierre Loing. "With NISMO, our in-house motorsports arm already producing versions of the 370Z NISMO, JUKE NISMO, JUKE NISMO RS and upcoming GT-R NISMO, we wanted to demonstrate where we could go in the future."

Nissan hasn’t said that the Nismo Sentra is going to come to production. Considering that the Nissan line will have a pair of Nismo Jukes, it would make sense for the Nismo Sentra to be offered. Here's hoping that Nissan puts this attractive four-door sedan into production.
