Hyundai has unveiled a new high performance version of its Veloster that is aimed at tuners and performance enthusiasts on a budget. The new Veloster Turbo R-Spec will be the least expensive Veloster Turbo in the line starting at $22,110 including the $810 destination charge. The car will get some unique touches to set it apart for other Veloster Turbo models.

It will come only in 6-speed manual and will have a factory installed B&M Sport Shifter. The seats will be cloth with red leatherette bolsters. It will also get special suspension and steering tuning. "We're thrilled to add the Veloster Turbo R-Spec to our growing family of enthusiast-oriented R-Spec models", said Scott Margason, director, product planning, Hyundai Motor America. "The R-Spec takes the Veloster theme of affordable performance to an entirely new level that is sure to appeal to driving enthusiasts."

The car will get red trim on the outside and will be offered in four colors. It also gets R-Spec floor mats on the inside. The car will lose some of the standard features that are offered on other Veloster turbo models including push button start, auto up windows, and more.
