Images of the facelifted Honda CR-Z Hybrid in white have been leaked somehow in China. The facelifted Honda CR-Z is said to be launched in 2016. And it will be used by Honda till the all new Honda CR-Z arrives in 2018.
The facelift basically includes new headlights, new side spoilers. New alloys, new bumpers, an updated interior and a new rear bumper also added. The last facelift dated back to 2015 and it was time that it needed to be refreshed.
Coming to the updated interior, there are new chromed door handles. An electronic parking brake, a new gear knob for the manual gearbox is also added. An armrest in the place of the manual handbrake, a new screen for the infotainment system is also there. And some unclear changes on the left-side stalk are also included.
The light units still appear to be the same as in the present model. But a completely new bumper with a sportier look has been added. The powertrain will remain the same at 123hp and 167nm as the facelift brings no changes to the powertrain.
The Honda CR-Z is marketed in China as an import. So there is no right to any green-car subsidies. And it is quite expensive which is the reason it remains unsuccessful. Leaked photos of a facelifted CR-Z have surfaced on Chinese website CarNewsChina.
