The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has gotten a Tesla factory tour by Elon Musk in San Jose, California on the weekend. The biggest take away for Modi has been how battery technology can help farmers according to his tweet about meeting Musk.

India could be the next big market for Tesla as Modi is looking at a clean energy future for his country.
Another Tesla factory got a lot of attention past week. Tesla re-launched its plant in Tilburg, Netherlands. The first Tesla factory in Europe will make Model S cars in an attempt to shorten the wait time for European customers.
The Tilsburg Tesla plant is the first full featured Tesla factory outside of the United States. One of the plants highlights is a 750m test track. It is Europe’s first indoor production test track.

The Tesla factory in Tilsburg will make 450 Model S cars per day. It has a capacity of 1,000. Tesla gets with the new plant a step closer to reach its goal of delivering 500,000 Teslas by 2020.
On September 29, Tesla Motors will hold a media event launching the sale of the Model X SUV. The unique electric SUV will be handed over to its first customers in the event.
