Interesting sales tactic

The automotive industry has had to get tricky when it comes to selling new automobiles with the global economy still not doing too well. A Porsche dealership in Toronto has hit on a very interesting way to sell high-end sports cars in affluent neighborhoods. The dealership parks a nice new Porsche in the driveway of the homeowner and then takes a picture of the car.

The dealership then mails the picture of the new Porsche sitting in the home owners driveway to the homeowner. The mailers that went out with photos of the car in perspective buyers driveways read, "it's closer than you think." It's cool idea I think.
