Mercedes-Benz shows off new SLS AMG Black Series

If you're a big fan of Mercedes sports cars, and specifically the SLS AMG you will love the 2014 model year SLS AMG Black series. Mercedes says the car was inspired by the SLS AMG GT3 racecar. The car weighs 3417 pounds and has a 6.3 L V8 engine.

That engine produces 622 hp at 7400 RPMs allowing the SLS to hit 60 mph in 3.5 seconds. The vehicle uses a AMG Speedshift DCT 7-speed transmission and the vehicle is available with the special aerodynamics package to improve handling and dynamics at speed. The car will and sell next summer at an undisclosed price.
