Lamborghini has officially unveiled its latest supercar in the form of a roadster version of its Aventador. The car is called the Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster and uses the same beastly V12 engine displacing 6.5-leaders and producing 700 HP as the coupe. The car uses a seven-speed gearbox and push-Rod suspension for ultimate performance.
Lamborghini also equips the massive engine with the instant start/stop system and high-performance capacitors to make it more green. All that power on tap lets the vehicle reach 100 K MH in only 3 seconds and the top speed is claimed to be 350 km/h. There is a significant difference in the looks and style of the roadster versus the standard version of the Aventador.
The Roadster version has a two-piece all carbon fiber roof. The roof was designed to be lightweight and easy to handle. Lamborghini specifically designed to roof to be easy to store in the front luggage compartment of the vehicle. The Roadster also has a windscreen that helps block wind and noise from the massive engine from getting into the cockpit. The car is available for €300,000.
