General Motors Extends Recalls By Over 8 Million Vehicles
Perhaps to spice up an otherwise mild week—excepting that Acura NSX prototype fire—General Motors has issued six recalls to fix loose bolts, poor welding, and other miscellaneous problems, brining the automaker’s 2014 North American total to 60 actions. General Motors has told its dealers to halt the sale of some Cadillac models, mostly used cars, because the company doesn’t yet have a fix in place for a defective ignition switch.
